Introduction           

           As part of the “China Center for International People-to-people Exchange Ministry of Education P.R.C People-to-people Exchange Jingshi Project” and "Go Global" strategy, JINGSHI INSTITUTE is a platform for overseas education and professional export of applied technology colleges and universities in China.

           “JINGSHI INSTITUTE” is derived from innovation applications on reality. Through the “School-School-Enterprise” model, we are committed to promoting the majors with industrial advantages in China to willing universities in countries along the “Belt and Road”.

           Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology- Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi (5G Communication Technology Major) Jingshi Institute is a co-built professional platform centering on “5G Communication Technology Major” by Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology, Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi and Beijing Huatec Information Technology Co., Ltd. The institute is located in Thailand.

           “5G Communication Technology Major” Jingshi Institute of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology was completed in 2021，with a construction area of 700 square meters in first phase, including exhibition halls, 5G communication training rooms, classrooms, offices, etc. Relying on JINGSHI INSTITUTE, we will carry out the construction of skill-based undergraduate innovation classes and Chinese + Vocational skills diploma classes, and promote the cultivation of international talents in collaboration with Chinese and foreign countries.

           At present, the overseas major of “5G Communication Technology” has been opened, and innovative classes and international teaching have been carried out. Colleges and universities in China and Thailand have jointly formulated a training program for international talents around the innovative class of “5G Communication Technology Major”, and jointly developed international teaching resources for teaching.

           “5G Communication Technology Major” Jingshi Institute of Nanjing Vocational College of Information Technology will continue to carry out overseas teaching, professional seminars and overseas training for teachers. Relying on the teaching implementation of JINGSHI INSTITUTE, we will develop international bilingual curriculum resources and teaching resources, carry out standard discussion and revision, complete the standard certification of overseas universities, and expand the international influence of curriculum standards and professional standards of Chinese universities.

Major

           The 5G Communication Technology specialty group are listed among the specialty group of the “Plan for the Construction of High-level Higher Vocational Colleges and Specialties with Chinese Characteristics”. The Communication Technology specialty is selected as the key construction major of the Construction Project of National Core Colleges and Universities in the “National Model Higher Vocational College Construction Plan”(it has been checked and accepted as “excellence”), the construction major of National Vocational Education Professional Teaching Resource Database, the construction major of International Engineering Education Paradigm, the class A major (checked and accepted as “excellence”) of the first-phase project of Jiangsu Provincial Colleges and Universities Brand Specialty Construction Project, the key construction major of high-level colleges and universities in Jiangsu Province, and one of the first batch of pilot majors training non-commissioned officers expert in information technology.

           The 5G Communication Technology specialty aims at cultivating inter-disciplinary technical talents with a sense of social responsibility, innovative thinking, enterprising spirit and cooperation ability, who can dedicate themselves to their work and comply with the norms, who have the ability to apply information technology, who can meet the demand for inter-disciplinary talents created by ICT technology integration and hold the positions of 5G network planning and optimization scheme design, project management, project implementation, operation and maintenance in smart industries, and who have the ability of 5G network planning and optimization, communication engineering project management, operation and maintenance and information system integration.
